Daniel continues to work as a Special Education Teacher at Easley High School, specializing in reading disorders and at-risk kids with learning disabilities.   Debra is a stay-at-home mother, raising their 3 children Sarah, Ashton and Brenna.  In the summer of 2009, Daniel and Debra began to feel a strong call to work in Youth Ministry.  Shortly after, they began contacting churches about possibilities and areas of need in Youth Ministry.

Daniel & Debra came on staff at Six Mile in February of 2010.  The focus of the youth program at SMBC, called Youth to the Extreme (or Y2X), is helping young people come to know Christ, gain a better understanding  of the scriptures, and discover the plans God has for their lives in ministry for Him.  This includes a strong emphasis on Evangelism among youth in the schools and communities around SMBC.  If you would  like more info on Y2X you can visit the ministry website by clicking here.  You can also email Pastor Daniel for more info by clicking here.
