Kid Zone is the newly developed children’s ministry at Six Mile Baptist Church. The goal of the Kid Zone ministry is to bring children to a knowledge of Christ and the Word of God. Kid Zone meets every Sunday morning during the 11AM corporate worship. While there, kids participate in their own praise and worship time, Bible studies and scripture-learning activities. On Wednesday nights kids participate in Team Kid, another active program designed to help our kids deepen their knowledge of God and His will for their lives. If you would like more information about the Kid Zone or Team Kid programs please click here to send us an email. |

Y2X, or Youth to the Extreme, is the ministry to our middle and high school youth. The goal of the Y2X ministry is “to mobilize an army of youth who know and intimately love Jesus Christ and want to share Him with those in their sphere of influence.” Y2X activities range from weekly Bible studies, to Sunday evening contemporary services, to short term missions trips to locations in SC and in KY. Each week, students study what God’s word says about issues they are facing in their everyday lives. They are also challenged to take what they believe and share it with those who they see everyday that are still lost. If you would like more info about the Y2X ministry you can visit the Y2X website here or email Pastor Daniel by clicking here. |

Missions is a big emphasis at Six Mile, whether it be local, national, or international. On the local level, Six Mile offers opportunities to help with a community soup kitchen or a community outreach breakfasts as well as outreach to the Helping Hands Shelter in Clemson. We also have connections to Freedom Center Ministries in Lynch, Kentucky and the Lighthouse Church in Columbia, SC. If international work is something that interests you, Six Mile offers opportunities to work with the Baptist church in Tarma, Peru. Teams go to Tarma at least annually to offer evangelism and church leadership training as well as opportunities to be involved in hands-on evangelism. If you are interested in receiving more information about missions opportunities at SMBC, you can email Pastor Larry by clicking here. |
